Bahamasair adds flights to the East Coast

There is good news for those traveling to Grand Bahama by plane.

Beginning May 1, Bahamasair will fly into four east coast cities in addition to its daily service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL). Bahamasair will fly these routes year-round. The expanded service fills a void from Vision Airlines, which discontinued service last month.

Here is the Bahamas air schedule (effective May 1, 2012):

  • Baltimore, Maryland (BWI):                               Thursday / Sunday
  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL):                         Daily
  • Louisville, Kentucky (SDF):                                Thursday, Sunday
  • Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina (RDU):      Friday and Monday
  • Richmond, Virginia (RIC):                                    Friday and Monday

We hope to see you soon!
