The dates have just been announced for the first annual Grand Bahama Music & Heritage Festival. Held August 3 – 5, 2012, this three-day event will celebrate our country’s 39th Independence.
World-renowned, Grammy recording group Baha-Men (who sang “Who let the dogs out”) will join many other Bahamian artists performing at the event. Entertainers include: Shadoe Masta, Bahamas Dance School, Tall T, Berkley Van Byrd from the T-Connections, Matrix Band, Eden Merry, Raquel Olive, Sherroll Rahming, Fuzion Culture, Royal Bahamas Police Pop Band and many more.
Tickets are $40 for a three-day adult pass, $25 for a one-day pass. Part of the proceeds from the event will aid the Grand Bahama Red Cross Center.
This will surely be an exciting cultural event that you won’t want to miss. If you are able to join in the celebration, we hope you stay with us here at Sunrise Resort and Marina and take advantage of our latest Grand Bahama vacation specials (such as our 2-for-1 offer).
